I only post very frequently at WW these days as every topic that appears seems to hold less value than the last. Its a good place to go to get all the gossip. I only really post when there are new guys needing help on plot and character points etc. Nobody else seems willing to give them the time of day and that sucks.

As Spatch says I tried comic collector for a while, I just didn't enjoy myself. The whole community aspect that this board has is just not there. Its all about one up-manship on the other boards. BOOOORING!

I hafta agree w/ everyone about the level of intelligence of the majority of posters at Wizard. After my first posting over there, one of the first replies was from Buddy Scalera and he was slamming me for not liking Deadpool, a book he's currently working on. I could understand if I'd been a little punk and just said "DEADPOOL SUX UR MOM FARTHEDS!!!!!1" but I gave some good reasons, gosh dernit. S'why I dont go there anymore. This board rocks way more.

The thing I hate the most about the Wizard board (and about the X-Fan and CC boards as well, come to think of it) is that it's dominated by all this 'x sucks!' 'no, x doesn't suck! y sucks!' etc. Everybody being all neurotically protective of their favorite characters and hostile to everyone else's. But of course, there's no such problem here That, and you're all intelligent. Actually, the CBR board doesn't have as much character vs. character bickering; it's actually pretty civil. But there aren't any Nighty fans there.

Well, if you want a place to talk about X-Men and be more positive, you can always go to the "X-Men Clubs" at Wizardworld.

Most of the posters at Wizard overlook that page, so it's pretty easy to say what you want without getting shot down.

Hey, and from what I hear there's a pretty decent Nightcrawler thread over there too!

Geez... now that I think about it, with the traffic being so slow right now, we would practically take over that place.

Ditto everyone on the Wiz Board observations. Me? I still enjoy posting over there in spite of the few knuckle heads 'cause it's kinda fun being one of the 'voices of reason' so to speak!

When I first signed up for WW I had a few run-ins with some 'flamers' and established 'cliques' myself. It was actually kinda fun squashing those beefs without completely resorting to their
infantile levels! ( I guess no one told em that you cant have a battle of wits with someone when youre un-armed! )

Nowadays I pretty much ignore the occasional Troll trying to stir stuff up. ( Trolls hate that! ) I admit though, that sometimes i'm tempted to go at it! ( Must be the wannabe writer in me needing to flex his improvisational muscles! )
